Very bad experience at this restaurant. I ordered a sweet tea and, to my surprise, I found a cockroach inside the glass. This is completely unacceptable and extremely unhygienic. Besides how disgusting it was, it also made me question the overall cleanliness of the place and the way they handle the food and drinks they serve to customers. When I informed the staff, their response was unprofessional and I didn’t feel they treated the situation with the seriousness it deserved. You go to a restaurant expecting to enjoy your time, not to deal with something so unpleasant. I definitely do not recommend this place. Hygiene and customer service should be a priority, and they clearly failed in both.

Will return: fresh, yummy food. We’ve - Beef Chow Fun 干炒牛河 - Shrimp dumplings 虾饺 - Shu Mai 烧麦 Although all are great, Beef Chow Fun 干炒牛河 hits my spot: very authentic, with the breath of the wok锅气. When I complimented it, the young man said they made the noodles. “We’ve 7 to 8 people in the kitchen on weekends.” Simple and clean decor. The yellowish Jasmine tea tins are neatly stacked on the shelf, soothingly. One pot of orchid – couldn’t tell if it’s real. The location is convenient, right off I-75. Wish they would add two wisps of leafy veggie to the beef chow fun, which is the norm, and better vinegar. 3% surcharge for credit cards. The server also said the location opened 3 years ago, and the one in Sarasota 7 years ago. “Yummy House is ours, managed by two sisters; King by brothers.” One will soon open in Jacksonville: good luck 马到成功 -：） By the way, one of the chefs from their Sarasota location left to open their own shop, named Dim Sum Kitchen. No wonder they gave me a tight face when I unknowingly asked about the names: so similar and so close in spelling. Ok, heading down to the tennis – Miami Open. Delicious dim sum served not only for lunch. Lacks, however, the ambience and vibe of dim sum carts. Also, why are the Chinese greens in oyster sauce over $12? Neither the greens nor the sauce is expensive to buy. Everything else is reasonably priced.

We visited Dim Sum King recently and left pretty underwhelmed overall. We were seated after a short wait, which was fine, but service quickly went downhill. It took a while just to get waters, and when our first dim sum dish arrived, it came with no plates, no chopsticks, and no silverware — even though the server could clearly see that. No one checked back, and most of the staff seemed to disappear into the kitchen, so I ended up grabbing utensils myself. When the second item came, I had to stop the server before he rushed off just to get plates. Food quality was very inconsistent. The shrimp balls were excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the tripe with ginger tasted like it had been frozen and thawed — bland with an unpleasant texture. The sticky rice lacked flavor, and the General Tso’s chicken tasted extremely generic with almost no spice or character. Overall, it felt like very little value for the price. One more thing that didn’t sit well: there’s a 3% upcharge for using a credit card. Personally, I think it would come across better to advertise a cash discount instead. On Christmas Day we had our dinner after travelling in the US after Disney for a week. It was so comforting to have better quality dimsum than in Europe and bigger portions than in Asia. Very reasonably priced to top it up. Loved it. Come when they open if you want to avoid the crowd.
